I'm trying this service out now using their thirty day eval program. The price is pretty good. It's a fraction of the cost of the well known players like gotoassist. There are less bells and wistles but if your intention is to remote control computers over the internet to support them. Then this remote support software service is not bad at all.

My company has been remotely supporting computer desktop, PC computer, and server remotely through the web on the Internet for quite some time now. Remote support software for desktop remote control has some variations. Remote support software can be mostly for local network support. We have used several remote support software products for internal network computer desktop PC support and we also have used an additional remote support software system for supporting computers over the web. Web based remote support software in many cases now also permits local remote desktop control features. Computer remote support software fist and foremost must allow complete remote control of the remote desktop. This may seem like a trivial point but there some solution for computer remote control over the web that require the user to "grant' permission. This is usually not a big deal but it is one more step that the remote user has to take in order to get full remote desktop control support over the web. The purpose for this stems from systems that also provide conferencing one online meetings. In this case several remote computers can connect to the presenter to see and share their screen . Desktop Screen-sharing is an integral part of online remote support software but does not permit remote computer control immediately ion our case we prefer solution for web based remote support to give us access right when we connect. We have desktop screen-sharing and remote PC control from the onset of the connection. we also prefer a session that permits the remote user to also interact. This is the most common scenario and more solutions for remote desktop control allow this. There is one notable exception. That exception Microsoft RDP or Microsoft RDP. With Microsoft's RDP protocol, the end-user cannot see what the technical support agent is doing while they are connected on their computer remotely. This okay in most cases for server support and more so on internal connections. The user often want to see what is happening on their screen and for the most part this helps in troubleshooting because the user is involved and could provide further details of the problem.

Web based remote support software provides online remote PC control through the web but other advantages too.
The advantages of web based remote support software for remote desktop control is the ability to provide computer technical support from a distance. This is accomplished by using the Internet. The users is most cases just have to use a browser and access a web site that has a link or simple log-on form to start a session. Depending on the solution, on the users side a support code will be generated. This remote support code number is then given to the technical support agent. The technical support agent then enters this code into the software they are utilizing for the web based remote support software to make the remote desktop session connection. This is often followed by a request for control. Although I prefer online web based desktop remote support solutions that do not require this additional step. Preferred is the web based remote support software solution like the 4RemoteSupport remote support software solution that just connects and provides remote desktop screen-sharing immediately. We prefer this method because the more the end-user is responsible to accomplish on their side the more they can get wrong. Online PC remote control software for online desktop support has enabled our company to grow faster than we would if we had to add more technical support agents. These technical support people are team of IT experienced staff that handle most all of our support cases. They get a request for assistance and they are able to resolve most through the web by using web based desktop support software with Online desktop remote control. The advantages to using web based remote support software are obvious and the functionality or use of such software is not new to technology. Proving remote control desktop support through the Internet is now common and expected by remote users. Computer desktop users are no longer unaware of such software and what it will do or how to get it started. Users have come to also welcome all forms of remote support software for remote desktop control through the web. Unlike users of the past, users are more savvy in the the current era of desktop computing. With so many options and variation of web based desktop support, we have an assortment of option.s As mentioned I have a preference of using software for remote desktop control that gives technical support agents immediate remote desktop control as soon as the support session with the remote computer is established. This has an advantages for us. We have many support incidents and many remote clients to remotely assist so the time required for users to either understand they still need to enable or permit remote access add up. Our remote access has to be fast like this because we also need complete control with no options the remote user can change. we remotely connect to desktops through the web for remote remote access and remote control Remote desktop access for remote support can also be installation based. Although this solution provide many more options such as gathering more data about the computer itself, like hardware, firmware, drivers, etc., it's not as efficient remote access because the time it takes to get the remote access connection started takes longer. In addition, desktop remote access with a full installation with an uninstaller needs more permissions that the remote user has to their computer.
